About
Christiaan grew up in Cape Town with a camera and no plan. Surf missions, skate trips, his MMA gym, nights out. He was documenting all of it before he had a word for it, getting access through doors that formal training doesn't open. At 17, a photo series called Behaving Badly landed him a magazine cover.
On set and in the edit suite, he found his teachers: directors, DPs, fellow crew members who didn't know they were running a masterclass.
That eye is now behind work for Toyota, Adidas, Pagani, and FIFA. Cars, sport, fashion, documentary. Whatever the brief, he finds the frame that makes it land.
